Feather Petroleum Company, DBA Stop 'n Save Convenience Stores of Colorado, are thrilled to report their donation from their annual fall promotion which DOUBLED last year's fund raising effort. Each of the 17 stores dedicated one day, Wednesday, October 24th as Pink Wednesday where 5 cents from every gallon pumped was donated to the mammography and early detection programs local to the location of the stores. A total of $9,022.00 dollars was raised and donated this week to these various organizations.
During the promotion, consumers were invited to purchase their fuel from any one of the stores on that date, and Stop 'n Save would in turn make a donation of five cents for each gallon sold to Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention programs in that area. Each program is designed to provide affordable mammograms and/or other early detection techniques.
Kent Frieling, President of Feather Petroleum Company said, "For a promotion to double in size from the year before is astonishing. We really have the customers to thank for their unwavering support. Our commitment to our customers doesn't stop at high quality customer service, but continues on to a more personal level. We are so very lucky to have this opportunity to make a difference in so many lives."
